Sometimes, I see a question that I have a (snarky) answer to, and I start to reply. About halfway through I recognize that my answer doesn't really shed any light on the situation and might make the original poster feel bad that they ever posted in the first place. As I'd rather see the crop of regular posters grow, I either rewrite my answer or scrap it altogether.
I know that there are questions that have been asked and answered a
zillion times. Perhaps we as a community should work on a FAQ that we can direct people to when they ask. Maybe a ui wiki even?
