As far as I can tell, the Updater for DrumsUI is now dead.
I took care of the Java compatibility issue, but now every time I try to run the updater I get blocked by a proxy server error and nothing updates.

I presume at this time the only thing viable is to get the manual install version along with the updates to the UI from Blackhood?

Make sure nothing is covering it up. I'd suggest trying to install again if you've recently set things up.

So, for whatever reason, Drums UI menu doesn't open from time to time.
*EDIT* It won't open at all for me. ANd sometimes the spell timer doesn't show up.

Hi Drums,
Hope all is well... Just a quick request regarding the quick cast buttons in the group window.

1. Would it be possible to add a toggle to display the 1 - 5 buttons on a perm basis. At the moment they don't display unless you mouse over them.

2. Also how about a size option for the 1 - 5 buttons please?

In a nutshell I'd like the buttons to always display and be a bit bigger...

I still need to fix this, and I've been away for the holidays for Thanksgiving. I will try to fix this as soon as I can.

Sorry for the mixup with the half-implemented update. For now, I suggest deleting eq2ui_mainhud_persona.xml from your DrumsUI folder until I update again. This will make make the default Persona window open for the time being.

After I make a Set I cannot see it in the drop down menu. can you please explain why this is or fix why this is.

Today when I tried to update I receive the message that could not connect to webserver. please check your connection or set proxy.

Nothing has change since last night on my system so wondering if something else is going on? When I try to go direct to http://www.advancedmod.com/DrumsUI/live/ I get,

Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to www.advancedmod.com
Access a cached copy of www.*advancedmod.*com/*DrumsUI/*live/*

And if I use Firefox I get,

404 Error File Not Found

I mean the UI is very unoptimized but there is little you can really do but show less windows at once. Each window is 1 to a few FPS on average. But it's also the game. Complex shaders is the biggest hit usually, followed by spell effects count and quality. The font itself isn't really the problem it's just the UI rendering text.

Also, anything that is transparent partially is usually not great. Do full transparency or none. But really just tweak your settings in-game to get optimal frames. The game is just old and CPU bound.
