How to Create and/or Add Maps

One minor correction: the blank map isn't transparent because it's black; it's transparent because it's alpha layer is all set to 0% (fully transparent). There could be a pretty picture of a flower in the blank map .dds, but as long as the alpha layer was all 0%, you wouldn't see it in game.
