Converting a certain Xp bar

I know this isn't the help forum, but since you made this Seagoat I thought I'd see if you had any suggestions.

I'm not using a full custom UI, I'm just trying to use the XP bar you made here.

I created the .xml file named as stated and saved the code to it. I created a UI directory called MyUI and put the single file in there. (I'm assuming if a component isn't listed it reads the default, so shouldn't it load just this one component from the directory I created.)

I even tried adding the eq2.ini file rather than using loadui as stated in the site and it still didn't seem to load the xp bar you made. I still see the default bar.

I used the code on this site, so my eq2.ini is as follows:
cl_ui_skinname MyUIi
cl_ui_subdir UI/ (or should this be the path UI/MyUI) ?

Is there something I'm missing here? Any help would be appreciated.
