I think your problem is the extraction process. I don't know what you're using to unzip the file but it's important to do it in the right place and the right way.

The ProfitUI 3.1.1.zip file should be in the Everquest II folder.

Then when you unzip it, you need to choose the option "unzip here" or "Extract Here". That way it doesn't create an extra "ProfitUI 3.1.1" folder that you don't need.

After that you should get

in your Everquest II folder and then in \Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\ProfitUI should be

_eq2ui_mainhud_experience variant 1.zip
_eq2ui_mainhud_experience variant 1.zip
_eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers horizontal compact.zip
_eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers horizontal.zip

and a bunch more zip files, a lot of xml files, and some txt files.
