Spell tracking
This is a little spreadsheet that I put together for my Ranger. I find it extremely usefule as I often forget what spell replaces the previous one. I also have a tab there for poisons. Nice to have a quick view for all poisons when you are looking for just the right one for a particular fight. If the spell tracking could be added to the knowledge window or somewhere else, that would be extremely helpful. Some of the spells are never replaced, only get better as you advance, you will notice that those remain green. Anyway, if this could be created for each player type and added, I would be forever thankful.

For a static list you could do it like this:
browser http://eq2ref.com/abilities/ - not yet updated to T8
and
browser http://www.eq2alchemy.com/potions-poisons.html
Otherwise this sounds like something for the InfoCenter, not sure if poisons are currently on there, spells are but without previous level info.
Apart from that I like the idea of the auto-coloring based on level. Maybe I'll mod that one of these days. I just don't like the idea of building up the database for this... (read: the amount of work to do for that)

GM9 - Here is the database
Ask and ye shall receive. It is in Excel format and works for all classes up to level 70. When someone else does the leg work for the rest of the levels, I will add that information. This was challenging to do, but fun. I think everyone will find this feature useful, and if not the feature, at least if there is somewhere I can make the spreadsheet available to others.

Sweet. I'll have to think of a useful XML database format and maybe this could even be used for click to cast buttons selecting the correct spell from a spell line depending on your level.
Must .. not .. forget .. about .. this ... thread.

Completed through level 80
Here is the completed list as promised. I stole all of this information from various places. It is all correct to the best of my knowledge. Hope everyone finds this as useful as I do.

Any new information
I was wondering if you had the time to look into this yet and see if it is possible. More of a curiosity now than a necessity as I am almost level 80 and will not need to track this information for a while, but I know it was useful to me in my trek to get to this level.

I did the click-to-cast button thing I mentioned above, see here.
As for creating a knowledge book that automatically colors your level appropriate spells green: no, not yet.

The next release of EQ2 Henchman will have this list for picking spells for all the click to cast models.
When you select your class it will display only that class, then you can select a level and it will then only list spells for that class that that level can use. Much much better then picking spells from a list like you have to do now.
I've added some screen shots from the dev app I am using to test it with. Image 1 is of all spells list and image 2 is of all spells a level 80 Troub can use.

Looks cool Landiin. Do you have AA abilities in there as well? That's the only thing missing from Ornathian's table (or did you use his data?).

Thanks
No haven't added any none passive AA abilities, I just used ornathian data but the AA abilities is a nice idea. I'll have to add the none passive ones.

Should I include all AA's or just none passive AA's?

Not sure what you mean by passive AAs, but if it's those that do not need to be cast anymore then I don't see the point in adding them. But everything that can be cast might want to be macroed. Btw, would be cool that if you add them you would then export them back to the Excel table or some other useable format so I can add them as well. I'm too lazy to type them up myself.
