UI Question

I am sorry if this is been asked already but I have been looking for some time now and couldnt find it, and I applogize right off the top of my head if this has been asked time and time again.

Is there anyway to make a UI or a Add-on to any UI grab Data inside of EQ2 any type of information that EQ2 sends out and have it save it somewhere? IE The log or something to then Prase later?

anything you say in chat goes into your log, and that's about all that can be done

you can get anything that's displayed in the UI, you just have to have it said in chat (you can macro that) to get it written into a file

Yep. It's quite possible to /say things using game data (but then people look at you funny...).

Oh, and I hadn't noticed your reply there gm9, hehe. I thought the color might have something to do with it, but I didn't know about the beginchatinput command.

Is there any command that acts like a return (so that it sends the input?)

Yeah the way I am going to get around that i though of making it do a channel but then you would have to set the channel to join and then point to. it looks like it maybe to hard, I think Sony needs to go and change the way they let you export data. But I dont think they are going to.

What information are you saving to the log? The stuff from the examine window like the other thread?

Well I got a few Add-ons I am making one is for users information to get Exported out and then another one is for like a guild Leader or officer to export guild information.
