Can I get some rock-n-roll plz

Just wanted to know if there is a way to change music/combat thems and zone music.....sure would be a interesting world dealing out 65-96 DOT points to a giant while listning to some Rob Zombie...lol. If anyone can help out plz let me know.

You could most likely do the same that was done in EQ1, and change out songs in the Music file in the main EQ directory. The only catch is that you would have to add in the files each time you start the game, after it has patched and it will probably have to have the same name as one of the pre-existing files.

Check the ...\Everquest 2\Music folder. I suppose it will be overwritten when you run the patcher, so either run the game without the patcher and maybe write yourself a bach script that exchanges your custom files with the official files back and forth for when you need to patch.

The short version ... create a everquest II/custom_music directory and put in there whatever you want to listen to. The hitch? You have to name it properly ...

For example, the music from Lavastorm drives me nuts. I want to replace it with my_awesomer_music.mp3

I have to track down the file that plays when I'm in lavastorm:
EverQuest II\Music\zones\lavastorm.mp3

I have to rename my_awesomer_music.mp3 and put it in:
EverQuest II\custom_music\zones\lavastorm.mp3
