Default showing speed

is there a way to show how fast im goin? ive got that spell effects window that shows hp regen and power regen and stuff but i cant find if it shows how fast im swimmin or how fast im goin on a 24% horse while srintin with SoW er w/e... anyway someone can make somethin show that?

I would say not at this time. Sony would have to give us a Speed GameData type in the eq2UI_gamedata.xml for the authors to call upon in their UI mods.

Actually, that's an interesting question. Both haste and movement speed (as well as power and hp regen) show up in /show_window MainHUD.Character

Only useful information that can't be found elsewhere is located in the Spell Effects text object. Quib already has a mod for this window that cuts out everything but that object and its scrollbar.
I found that thread and raised the question there. If we can display individual items from that spelleffect window, there are actually quite a few improvements that could be made..

ooh i hope so and another thing, my haste ring (from catacombs guy) and my skills that add haste also, wont show in the window :/

umm169, are you looking at the correct stat? Although I have never checked the Watcher ring, my self hastes always showed. The stat is something like attackspeed or offensivespeed (both are listed), not 'speed.' Speed refers to movement speed, I think. There is also a mountspeed variable. I'm not sure how that and the 'speed' variable interact.
