Icon Visibility Increase

Gets rid of the brown starburst effect behind all the icons!

This goes in customui\images\icons\

Includes:
Bags/Containers
Bank
Inventory
Loot Window
Inspect Window

anywhere else that has items (except quest helper/journal, these have no background already!)

I really like this mod, I just have one little problem. I can no longer see the red tint associated with items I can't use and items I have placed in a trade window (which sucks if you are trading lots of stacks of identical resources). Is it just me? I do have a few other modded pieces on my UI but nothing except a bag resizing mod for my inventory. Please let me know if you can replace the red tint or if it's something I can do myself

if you mouse over the item, doesn't it show it's name in red? hmmmm

Yes, mousing over an item you cannot use reveals the tooltip, but knowing at a glance is much better, and how hard could it be? Mousing over items you have already placed in a trader window do not work this way, and being able to see what you've put in the window already is important for expediting trades

It's definitly a great mod but did you find a solution for unusable/busy items ?

not yet...since the red goes over the background only (right..? i forget) i might try and make it white for items you cant use or somethin....i use this mod myself and im also bugged about the red items.

Unfortunately im about to be gone for 3 weeks as of tomorrow, so dont expect an update til after then hehe.

Its all in the DDS file tho, as far as i know.

How about this one?

Just has the busy/toohigh/attuned/unattuned/normal color in the corners instead of behind the entire icon. Not as nice as Tony's original but you might like it better than the default.

Deathbane, I noticed 2 things, which aren't really a "problem" just... well you'll see...

I see you edited 2 different boxes, maybe only had to change 1?

Anyhow, here's screenshots that will show what I mean:

Notice 1 buff icon:

Noticed Infravision icon:

Anyway for this not to happen?

*edit* as for the Knowledg window and the Infravision Icon, it happens when you mouseover any icon, and the buff icon.. just happens on some of them, but always displays that way.

Hmm...

Okay, the stuff behind the buff icon is the background on it, visible when it starts blinking when it's about to expire. Uses the same background as the inventory so can't seperate that without editing the buff windows.

Fixed the mouseover.

Well the buff wasn't fading acctually, it was that one and another buff that I saw that had it, all my normal buffs never had it, normal or fading. Wierd

HI ..
Deathbanes icon transp with the background in black is super ..
only question i have is.. where he has the real tiny con colors in corners.. if those could be enlarged just a little to make it easier to see con colors ..
it's SO much easier on the eyes with the black backgrounds maybe make the cons show up all around inside a couple pixels wider ?

Any idea on how to actually CHANGE the background color it chooses? I've looked everywhere in the UI files but cannot seem to find where it picks the color. My main problem is telling the difference between items I can't use myself, and items that are 'busy' in a market or trade. Both backgrounds seem to be a slightly different shade of red! =( Any help on what file to change would be appreciated!
