always resetting

been using profit for sometime, and i've been dealing with a problem thats getting to the point of unbearable, so i figured id try to get a solution on here. ive tried asking other players, and have even /petitioned for help with no luck. im being told its someting to do with the interface itself

so here goes, whenever i go into options for any reason, wheather just to look how things are set, or to once in awhile change the screen from full screen to windowmode so i can access other pc things. i always, always have to reset my damm keyboard movement settings. even if i jsut go in and look without touching anything, just hitting alt+o or clickin the options selection from the main menu, the keyboard settings all reset, all by themselves, to default mode, along with all the other settings ive done.
WHY? why does this happen each and every time? its to the point im scared to go into options for anything b ecause i have to take 10mins to reset everything, blahh blahh..

ive tried everything to, i saved a profile, tried to load it, nothing works.
if i try to load the profile i saved, still nothing--it just sets at default settings.

can i get some help on this please?

A while ago, I had the same problems, and with growing despair I tried nearly everything to get rid of this behaviour... in the end I just installed eq2 completely new. That worked

It's not UI related, happens to users of all UIs including default. I think this here is still the best workaround solution: http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/p...=40833&#333590
