Default Quest Categories

Is it possible to detect the current selected quest category? I have been reviewing the code for the Journal Active Quest to incorporate writ quests into the crafting window when active.

I don't want to show the quest helper info if the writ is not selected in the journal. My thought was to conditionally test for City Tradeskill and Tradeskill categories and set the visible flag accordingly.

I have not found a dynamic data tag to use for this purpose. Any help would be appreciated.

Thats a really fantastic idea you have, but at the moment, the Journal only outputs all the quests in one go.

On another note....
I have been after a way to get one particular faction displayed in the crafting window and I have been /feedback ing that for some time now.

Narzoo, the OP is talking about the currently selected quest so you see what you need to craft when doing writs. Nice idea.

There is none, but you can grab the info you need from the quest journal, it's in the QuestDetails.Category.Text element.

The real problem will however be getting the quest details into the tradeskill window, I'm not sure if that will be possible, but then I never tried.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.
