Default Burt Pack

http://www.eq2interface.com/download...fo.php?id=3363

Re-arranged Beastnic's Celtic Player window quite a bit. Removed player name, added zone name, added more resists, moved things around, removed TKing graphics and made it generally snug for a letterbox setup with the plain framestyle that comes with the game.

Also included a modified version of Moab's target window. Basaically I just added the attack indicator to the character name since it's no longer in the Player window. Props to Deathbane for pointing out how to add attack indicator to a text object.

Thanks to you all

Default 1.1

1.1 obsolete

Fixed a misalignment in player window and added a rebuilt version of the knowledge book:

Should work as intended hehe. But let me know if it doesn't =P

1.2 available

http://www.eq2interface.com/download...fo.php?id=3363

Rebuilt Knowledge book again hehe

Screenie here:

This was made with a tradeskiller in mind. All good things come in 3's after all hehe. Being one myself and also having a somewhat anal approach to organizing icons and spells and stuff I just had to have a book with the number of slots in a row at 3. Hence the single one all by its lonesome in the upper right corner hehe.

Also added a new, spiffy background to replace the drab and black approach in the first version. This has plainly viewable squares for you so you can move your stuff around as you want without having to stab in the dark, as it were.

My initial version only had 15 slots in the book but during beta testing it became clear that the game doesn't give a bugger how many slots I program into the book, it will still use 16 slots. So, I ended up having spells and skills vanishing into "the void" when I dinged and got new stuff.

If anyone knows how to magically make the game realize there are only 15 slots in the book, please let me know. Until then, this will do for me.

Hope you all like

Old version will be included in the 1.2 release if you prefer to use it over this one.

I really really like the reduced size Knowledge window. I've been looking for one for months now.

You should package all these items seperately under the components section. There is no reason for these to be in a "Pack", aside from the fact that you made them. Also, a name like "Burt Pack" doesn't tell me what they are or what is in them. If I hadn't been randomly clicking through threads, I would never have found what I have so desperatly sought.

Anyway, thanks for making it.

Thanks for the input folks.

I'm currently in the progress of reworking the knowledge book yet again with new and improved (well, new at least) graphics and stuff hehe. It will remain nice and neat, though.

As for the name. Well, I really couldn't think of a good name lol. So burt pack it became. Reason I stuck the windows together is that the Player window and Target window kinda go together since I removed attack indicator from the player win where it resides per default. The knowledge window just kinda slid in on a nana peel. Though I think they can move it from the Target Window section now hehe. Maybe stick the pack in Misc?

Anyhoo, this might just develop into a full interface eventually.

it would be nice if you could add the first and last page buttons to the knowledge book. it's extremely handy to have those when organizing the book.
