Default Stats in Combat

As a Rogue (both Swash and Brigand), there are a couple of Offensive stats I monitor DURING combat. Those stats determine when I will use Combat Arts and how quickly, when/whether I will use personal short-term debuffs, and when I will use HOs. Other (melee) DPSers probably have the same needs. The key Offensive Stats are:

========================
Primary Weapon Delay
Secondary Weapon Delay
Ranged Weapon Delay
========================
Haste Mod
DPS Mod
========================
Pierce Skill
Slash Skill
Crush Skill (not used by Rogues)
========================

The first group tells me how to stagger my Combat Arts for minimum autoattack delay; the second group tells me whether my own self-buffs would be useful or wasted; the third group tells me whether I need to trigger HO's until I get the skill-ups.

It would be very useful to have these stats isolated in a thin, horizontal "Stat Bar" that could (eg) be stacked on top of the Hotkey Bars and doesn't chew up any more screen space than required to be visible. All the other Offensive stats (Crit%s, DA%s, etc) are nice to know - but they are not needed DURING combat, which means there are several nice UI options for seeing them at a glance.

Alternatively, this Offensive Stat strip could have a clickable 2nd option to expand the strip horizontally to display the remaining Offensive Stats, from ATK (meaningless) thru Spell Crit%.

I'm sure the same situation also exists for selected Defensive Stats. Perhaps someone could give some thought to which stats are critical, and which are "nice to know".

The result MIGHT be a UI add-on consisting of TWO strips, one for Offensive and one for Defensive In-Combat stats. And each strip might have a second option for those who prefer to display all the stats, all the time.

Thanks for listening.

There isn't any gamedata we can use for the above three stats you listed. (That I could find)

Aye, probably not. That data is returned as part of the response to the /weaponstat command.

If Haste were linear, a calc would be easy. But I haven't seen anyone who has published a formula setting the relationship between Haste and Haste%.

In any case, the concept of having "active" stats like these separated from "passive" stats (eg., resists) and "useless" stats (eg., ATK) is not followed by any UI piece or complete skin that I have seen.

And for a rogue, the statbar I mentioned would be useful even without "Weapon Delay".

With the changes to the Persona window, I've added Game Data for Primary/Secondary/Ranged Damage Range and Delay. These values are after modifications from spells and items, so they are basically the same thing you see with /weaponstats.

This info will be viewable in the new Persona window that will be released with RoK.

Nice. While you are doing DD for persona, this is what I have listed on my known issues page (which needs some amendments btw):

Quote:
In the persona window, if you mouse over the mitigation value for specific types (slashing, crushing, piercing), the percentage displayed is 1/10th what it should be. The percentage for the overall mitigation value displays the correct value.
Haven't checked this in ages (I'm not playing) so sorry if it was already fixed in the meantime.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.
