macgregs, you can ignore those errors, they are actually caused by files from the Default UI that ProfitUI references. If you get the DefaultUI, please reinstall following the install instructions (it may be helpful deleting your current ProfitUI folder to make sure you get a clean install). Install instructions are in the FAQ linked in my sig.
The POIfinder is optional and not required to run ProfitUI. morpheusone, please update to the latest version of ProfitUI Reborn. That file newcharscene.xml has been removed last year.
