The map has been coming up fine for me...

Are you using the EQ2MAP updater, and are you making sure that it doesnt overwrite the mainHUD_map file?

You should set the update to ask before overwriting MainHUD files, and then when it asks to overwrite it select no.

If that was the case, re-copying that file from the Fetish zip should fix that, I think.

Looks like SOE fixed the bug that was causing the Bag Strip to crash. Apparently they were requiring a Paperdoll in the Inventory window, which caused problems for any mainhud.inventory mod that didn't include one.

FaraqueOnBrell and others, the Quest Helper timer is a known bug from LU26. SOE added the "Time" label so now the actual time doesn't fit inside the textbox. Should be fixed in the next release.

casper, Yah the raid window drag and drop is buggy, particularly when attempting to drag to the 6th slot of any group. I'll see what I can do to fix it, but its hard to test since I don't often raid.

faithking, the "Who" button in the Tracking window was experimental and was never intended for release. I'll be removing it from the next release.

Rastaah, re-extract both the eq2ui_mainhud_target.xml and eq2ui_mainhud_impliedtarget.xml files from the FetishNightfall zip to your Fetish directory. Click "Yes to All" when asked if you want to overwrite existing files.

Hennesey, run the EQ2Maps patcher to download all map images. Be sure to click "Options" and check the box "Ask to Overwrite Mainhud.Map" and always say "No" when prompted. Just to be safe, re-extract eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml from the FetishNightfall zip after setting your options for the first time. Also be sure to snag the minimap suppliments 1 & 2 from the Fetish downloads section.

hi ppll,

i got a small pb with your UI (except for this one it's a graet UI thx ).

when i logout from EQ2 it saves my UI parameters as usual but when i logon with a character who already have a saved ui profile the personabar (i think it's the right name... i mean the addon with all the stats str/sta/int, etc...) never shows up... i have to logout again, delete the .inf, login, and it's here again. Except that i've got my whole UI to reconfigure...

anyone have the same pb or know how to fix it?

and thx again Zonx for ur great UI

Default Personabar

{OO}:
(1) You can open the personabar by bringing up your Persona Window - there is an open/close toggle mini-button for this in the window's title bar.

(2) It is possible the personabar is being opened but is positioned off-screen. You can open it via command, which should make it appear in its default position. I beileve the command is: /open Mainhud.Personabar

The command to open the personabar would be:

/open_window MainHUD.Quickbar I believe. And capitalization counts.

Zonx - Is the functionality of a /who button in the track window just not supported by the client? Its something I would kill to have working while playing on the pvp servers. (pun intended) Also I was curious if it was possible to have the Track_Window remain open, instead of closing, when I select something NPC/PC in the track window and "track" (begin a waypoint to their location.) them?

Basically yah. There doesn't appear to be any way to extract the selected item's data from the track list for use in other stuff.

Technically the list object used does not provided an index number for referencing the selected list item to be used in other stuff.

It may be possible to replace the list object with some other object, but I doubt it. Even if another object listed everything, it would almost certainly break the filter and sorting.

I tried several methods of referencing the selected item, hoping I could find a hidden method, but nothing worked. I just forgot to revert the file after my tests.

I tried to go to the Arena tonight and I am crashing to the desktop. I reinstalled EQ2 and was able to get in, then I installed Fetish Nightfall and I am crashing to the desktop.

Just remembering that I had recently seen a post from Landiin on this topic, where he had apparently managed to reference a list entry, but couldn't work with the data format he extracted. See here.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

Antha, yah I noticed an issue with the new stat groupers when the window is streatched (after I uploaded).

I'll post a patch for that file at some point but for now set the window width to minimum.

Tyrade, odd I've tested it on 2 different systems with np. Maybe a vid card or driver related issue. Its not a vital feature so just don't use it if your system can't handle it

Zonx, first off, very nice UI. Now, as far as the head button crashing the game, it happened to me also. All my drivers are up to date and, I am running 2 very nice vid cards(2 ATI Radeon X1900 Pro 512MB cards)...no big deal, as you said, it's not a vital component of the UI.

I have experienced the same problem. The game crashes upon clicking the "head" button.

Great UI. Thanks for the updates Z.

The Timer is now showing in the quest helper window, but is obscuring some of the quest text. This is a problem when working on the new rushwork orders as it can hide part of the recipe name, making it unclear what you are supposed to create. You can look at the full quest journal for the name, so it is not a game-breaker. I think having the timer working is an improvement, so I shan't revert, but a fix in the next release would be appreciated.

I also have the crash if I press the head button on my ATI based machine. I am not bothered by the lack of this feature.

Pyrowin, please attach a sreenshot of the overlapping timer and title text.

Are any Invidia card users crashing when using the "Head" button in the inventory window? Works fine on both the geForce4 cards I've tested it with.

Default Head Crash

I have a NVidia card (GeForce 6800, latest drivers), and it does NOT crash.

FYI: I am slowly "tweaking" the PaperDoll's position (moving the Y value from -20 towards -50), so as to see how much of the image I can get when I use the smaller form of the window (It currently cuts off the feet).
