Actually the line which is in there by default should disable the movie, putting a # in front of it should re-enable it.

Yay another update to my fav UI - can't wait to see what's what. Alas I only had about five minutes of uptime after coming home from work before the servers went down (without notice, I might add hehe) for maintenance.
Oh well, a little time over for my own pet project I suppose.

I have a bad feeling about this release, I kinda rushed it out with too little time.
One of the resulting "bugs" was already found, I accidentally included the persona window backgrounds in the main release. This makes the file rather large, my apologies to those on modem connections, in case you guys are still out there.  This also means you won't need to download that addon in addition if you want the persona images.
I'll keep the images out of future releases, however. Since they are not likely changing, I thought a separate download is the better choice.
And have fun with your project, Pixi. I'll try to keep the number of updates reasonable so you can keep up.

A info to implied target effects offset issue
I find some mobs give very small offset (see screenshots)
Maybe it can be hint to solution.

Yes, it's a bit random. The screenshot on the download has not much offset, either. The solution is probably laughing right in my face, I just don't see it yet...

Not sure what, if anything, you did to the hotkeys but the queued indicator is a lot more apparent now.

Well, I said I had fun with the graphics, and the queue indicator was the reason I sat down to do it. You'll notice a difference for EQ2MAP, if you use it, as well, in particular the icons for yourself and group members. I cleaned up a lot of other graphics as well, but it will likely not be as noticeable if you don't compare them side by side.
Without a changelog this is like an egg hunt for easter for you all, I suppose. Have fun finding out what's new.

The map is all black for me hehe. But I had the Fetish pack installed prior to 2.8 I think so it's probably a jumble of files.
Edit: I had forgotten to add the fetish styles to eq2ui.xml - map works a treat now.
One thing, though, while on the subject. The spoiler window sometimes get "stuck" in minimized mode. Any clue what might cause this? I know it's not your window, per se, but I figured you might have an idea what it is and what I can do to prevent it from happening.

Thanks for another update.
This probably is a minor thing.
I always change the colors from silver to gold on the frames. However, something has changed. Chat windows gets changed to gold as they should. Windows you open up get changed to gold also as they should. But visible "main" window frames does not get changed to gold.
I didn't update to 2.7.1 so I don't know if this was something that happend to that version aswell. I went straight from 2.7 to 2.8.
I've added a screenshot so you can see what I mean.

The reason is that profit.tga was change in 2.8 to DDS format and is now profit.dds. You *may* be able to just rename the gold file accordingly if you don't have a converter, I'm actually not sure whether the engine will identify it correctly or choke on it.
Maybe I'll put out a complete gold skin as well now that I've got the hang of the graphics.

I completely respect that decision not to release the pieces.
Thanks for the info. I wouldn't begin to know how to bind opening all the bags to a key. Until you said it, didn't even know it was possible.

Open up options in-game (Alt-O) and go to the "Controls" section. Click the + sign next to the "Window Keys" heading and scroll down. Near the bottom is the line you're looking for. Set whatever key you want for the "Open/Close Inventory Bags" command.

Actually the command should be something like "open/close bank bags", but it should be in the same area.
I've got bank on F11 and bags on F12 since the first public beta and have never had to revisit that option since.

Another great update  having two small issues though (probably something I've done). On the pet window which i keep almost see through, the pushed button (ie follow) has a flashing yellow box around it, and inv icons seem a bit washed out now. I can go to a previous ver of the file, but not sure which file it's in (my guess was _ProfitUI_Styles.xml).
PS just logged on my conj, and not 1 but 3 flashing yellow boxes

Heya
Couple minor issues, may be me, not sure. As a guild leader I often edit guild notes under officers, so we can check alts and such. Since newest install, I get the statement "(null) is not in your guild" when I try to edit, and the edit doesn't take. Any suggestions?
Second one is mainly for my alt, an Inquisitor, I seem to be missing the cure buttons next to the name in the group window. Were they removed, or am I off a bit?
Anyway, as always, great UI, and keep it up. I would appreciate any help on either issue, neither is major, but both are annoying.
I see there is now 2.8 out, was running 2.7.1, will try out 2.8 and see if same thing is occurring.

Officer notes def work with 2.8, but I don't remember having any probs with 2.7.1. Also from today's update notes:
*** User Interface ***
- Guild member and officer notes should be working once again.
so may have been a SOE issue

The guildnotes is an issue on the SOE side of things. Several people report similar issues with notes, regardless of UI.

Let me know if you figure this out, or if its with 2.8 - I'm seeing the same thing and can't stand how the inventory looks personally IMO.

How do I change the chraracter texture resolution from High to Maximum? It's not in my recent.ini?
And anyone has a profit UI video settings file corresponding to the setting high quality?

The flashing graphics on the pet window are related to the more visible hotbar queue. I haven't had the time to find out if I can use different graphics for the hotbars and for the pet window, but it's one my list.
I'll have to check what happened to the inventory. It was touched both by 2.7.1 and 2.8. In 2.7.1 I changed the background colors to be more visible. They are user adjustable however (check the change notes). The background image, on the other hand, is part of the same file I touched for the hotkeys. What you are seeing may be related.
And on the video settings, I actually have no idea, I just copied the presets settings from the InfoCenter. The easy way to find out appears to be to change the value in game to one settings, look at your recent.ini, then change it to something else and see what change in the recent.ini.
