lucidapathy, that's been happening to several people although I have no idea why. I posted a way to fix it a number of posts back up (edit your uisettings.ini), but I'll try to release a version today that doesn't have this problem (i.e. I'll revert to the 2.7.0 bar).
Ok deleting the uisettings.ini for the toon that lost his bottom bar worked, basically reset everything back to the beginning. Now to reset all the things I changed
