Something's definitely screwy, nonetheless. Perhaps it is the fact that I have two separate chat boxes open - a frequent necessity.
I'll give it another go, even though my attempts to backup and subsequently restore my original UI have failed inexplicably (it seems somehow to find an old iteration of my UI that I haven't used in a year).
