Isn't the "X" only supplied by EQ2MAP? So did you install this to your ProfitUI folder? If you did, then you likely have old EQ2MAP files in that folder - delete ..\ProfitUI\images\icons\icon_map3.dds and rerun their updater.

There are two sticky threads in the EQ2MAP section explaining this, btw.

And as a general note: If you have problems with any UI, delete the whole custom UI folder and reinstall. Left-over files are prone to cause problems.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.
