In options/ui there is a setting where u can do this I think.
In you eq2.ini removed cl_letter_box_amount 0.135000. Just an FYI, you don't gain any more view area by changing the size of the letter box. The objects get begger the smaller you make the letter box how ever you lose more view area behind the HUD. Uless you make them transparent.
