Default Implied Target -> Main Target

Since im not sure if its an user error, an DarqUI, Origins or EQ2 issue, im asking here.

Im playing on Origins and using the DarqUI.

Years ago i was used to click on the implied target window to make that implied target my own main target.

This is not working right now, neither with DarqUI nor with the original UI and i cant figure out why.

It works when i click the implied target on the extended player window tho. But i dont want to use the implied target window.

Any ideas?

You can extend the regular player window to include target and implied target, similar to the extended player window with the same implied target assist. Check the first checkbox on the Player setup page in the window manager. Also you can click the target name in the threat window to swap back and forth between target and target's target. But I don't remember the implied target window having a clickable target swap.

Thats how i played for many years back then on live using Profit UI.

Just to make sure im not using the wrong english terms:

Person A says: "hey, i found the mob we are looking for, my target!"
So i target person A who becomes my main target and see the mob we are looking for in person As implied target window.

Back then i double (i think it was double click according to my muscle memory ) clicked that implied target window and the mob we where looking for became my main target.

I dont know how it was done in the backend, but basically it was an /assist. Just without the need to type /assist or click an /assist macro.

Here someone else had the problem back in 2015, sadly without a solution: https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq2...for-me.566850/

The extended player stuff is not a real solution for me because i prefer to place main target and implied target windows at different locations depending on the class im playing.

Like in the attached picture: A targets B, i click or double click on the name B and B takes the spot of A as main target.

i thought it was standard EQ2 behaviour, but maybe it was/is a Profit UI thing?

I just checked a random download for the target/implied target windows and found "<Button BackgroundOpacity="0.000" Location="0,14" Name="Assist" OnPress="PlayerString=Parent.Name.Text
assist" PackSize="absolute,fixed" ScrollExtent="136,16" Size="136,16" Style="/ButtonStyles.invisible" Tooltip="Click to target" />". In this case its from https://www.eq2interface.com/downloa...edWindows.html

Is this the functionality im looking for?

Yes, if you add this code to eq2ui_mainhud_impliedtarget.xml at Line 3 (right after the first <Page line) it should work for /con_version 0 and /con_version 1. I used a checkbox instead of a button since a checkbox responds on mouse down instead of mouse up.

Code:
<Checkbox Location="16,23" Name="DoAssist" OnHoverIn="ttt=Parent.v0.Name.Text&#xD;&#xA;Tooltip=('Assist ')##(ttt)" OnPress="assist Parent.v0.Name.Text" PackSize="a,f" ScrollExtent="132,34" Size="132,34" Tooltip="Assist" />

I'm assuming you are using the Normal size version of the Implied Target window, not the Large size.
