Default Points of Interest (POIs) on Anashti Sul are supplied separately from Live server POIs, and are very limited especially when compared to an EQ2MAP installation on a Live server. Also, player-submitted POIs for Anashti Sul are starting from the ground up, so you won't see dozens of POIs littered all over the maps like you are used to seeing on Live.

In the base game zones on Anashti Sul you should see maps with standard POI icons such as zone entrances, vendors, inns, etc., and a limited number of yellow POI dots much like what the map would have looked like in 2006 with or without EQ2MAP. Player-submitted POIs will begin to filter in over time. I recommend checking for EQ2MAP updates once per day.

For standard and premium DarqUI, this article will give you some instructions for a basic setup that should give you DarqUI and EQ2MAP on the Origins server. After installing EQ2MAP, DarqUI Premium players can go back to their DarqUI updates and scroll down to Map, choose "Using EQ2MAP" from the gear icon even if it's already checked, and download a map frame over EQ2MAP that has some extra custom controls.

Please post again if you are still not seeing DarqUI and EQ2MAP.
