Bank boxes resizing troubles

I have a few boxes that each time i log in are losing hteir sizing settings on the icons. I like them bigger! THis happens both in the bank and the shared bank. Is this an eq2 issue or a UI issue? I changed my variants to the one that said bags titlebar-no rezizing bug. Not sure if htat's hte same thing.

I am getting the same problem. I bugged it to Sony and they gave me a list of files to delete and rescan on loggin but I still have the same problem. Have also tried using a backed up copy of toon ui's from a reformat and still get messed up boxes. The vault boxes don't seem to be affected by this problem. Just the 2-3 bank boxes and shared boxes on all toons. And they are not always the same boxes on each toon either.

I have also had the same problem for years now, I have seen various "fixes" and tried them, editing html files and such, but nothing works. For instance in my shared bank I resized and relocated all bags so that the slots are larger since I have a 1920x1200 resolution on a large monitor, and bags 1-7 are fine, but bag 8 keeps moving back to it's own position, and with smaller slots. I think I changed mine to 40 or 44 pixels, tried both, but bag 8 is always 32 pixels I believe. This also happens on 3 of my non-shared bags, I believe it's usually 11, 12, and one other, maybe 8 or 9. Very irritating and I don't know if it's an SOE problem, Profit, or what. I even went so far as to go back to one of the default UIsettings from Profit, rebuild the complete UI to the way I wanted it, and all was fine for a week or two, then it migrated back to the same problem. Any ideas?

Ive had this issue periodically also. I think it somehow relates to me minimizing the client when the bank is open, but i could be completely wrong.

How i fixed it was to completely delete my ini file and build a brand new ui from the ground up. Then name that Backup. Then whenever the ui wacks out and messes up, i just restore from that fresh backup file. Bit of a pain at first but its worth it in the long run.

yea, if you, like me, like your bags to stay put, don't change the size of the EQ2 window (this includes switching between fullscreen and windowed mode) as this will mess your bags up almost 100% of the time.

If you do have this happen to you, you can simply reload your UI settings for that character BEFORE zoning or camping and it will reset them.

to the OP; if the above it not what's happening to you, you may (and probably do) have a corrupt UI settings file. I'ed delete them all and reset up a character (copying the first one off to a flash drive or something in case you need to do something like this again)

Well, I tried following the link to download UI Spy and it's not available anymore, and when I search EQ2 Interface for EQ2 UI Settings Spy it comes up empty so I assume the program is no longer available or maybe stopped working with the newer GU's, no idea.

As for a clean install, I have had this problem on THREE clean installs, 3 different machines, so that's not a real fix, trust me.

When you say clean install, are you using a back up of a UISettings file, or a supplied one of some kind? Because that is where the problem lies. Not in the UI folder, not in the EQ2 install files.
