is it possible to reskin weapons? (client side obviously)

if so, where would i find original skin to modify and how?

Those are the files that contain pretty much everything, but that won't help you since they're monitored by the patcher.

So I believe the answer would be no -- you cannot modify the way weapons and such look in game.

If you launched from the eq2.exe maybe. But I think some files are checked via loading the game, and not just the patcher.
