UIBuilder -- is this normal?

Been out of the loop for a long time. Back into EQII with free play 'til Nov 4th, thanks to SOE.

I loaded up the game, and then afterward, UIBuilder once again.
But all the local text is very strange.

Such as the experience window's localtext ":bf2c9e194230e99c:Combat Experience Disabled"
What's with all the random lettering? What did I miss, and did I also miss any posts on this?

It makes the UIBuilder window a mess to even look at.

Yeah they added that to help with localization. I believe they were working on releasing an updated uibuilder that filters that out but not sure what became of that.

You'll notice that on some xml's they work around this by not including the :XX: localization code in the LocalText. That way you can better see in UIbuilder what's going on, and since LocalXXX tags in the XML are ignored during runtime anyway it does not hurt localization.
