Map feature and chat window.

I have a huge secion of deadspace on my chat window. I was wondering if it was at all possible to attach the map window to it. Have it pop up (currently it pops down) from the top of the chat window. When it's in the minimize state it has the area and coords like the current default displayed.

Or, at the very least, is it possible to recode the window to pop up? I can lock it in place to have it appear as though it's attached.
