Just a couple a qeustions....

I'm still a noob w/ UI stuff. And before I go on and download a UI i.e. ThorUI, I want to make sure that it is useable with EQ2Map. I have and run EQ2 map when I play, but can one run both programs at the same time? I'm assuming ThorUI, and the likes, is a program? Oh, and which UI is the best for a noob :P

I'm almost 100% sure its built into his install. You will prob have to update after installing via the updater but you'll be good.

No, basically eq2maps is nothing more then a ui mod it self. All UI mods work basically the same. You storethem in a folder in the UI direcotry and the game looks there for the files to use for the UI. So when you use a ui, eq2maps is just added into the folder it uses. Granted the look of the map window can be changed but the underlying code is the same.

EQ2Maps is separate from ThorUI AU

You have the option to automatically run an application after launching the ThorUI AU.
Most set this up to run the EQ2Map AU which in turn launches the game.

So to clarify:
Install ThorUI AU
Install EQ2Map AU
Launch ThorUI AU and configure where the EverWuest II directory is and set to launch EQ2Map AU after when it's done.
When EQ2Map AU launches, configure it to launch EverQuest II automatically.

Thanks for clerifying that Faetyl. I did just that and so far... no complaints. In fact, I've already recommended your UI to a friend of mine. He loves it as well. I also noticed that one can "Infomercial" your UI and this website using the ThorUI in game.... I did this in a /shout

I just want to make sure that it isn't against the SOE EULA or EQ2 Interface's EULA. I wouldn't want to get into trouble, or cause any for you guys. Let me know and GREAT JOB with the UI!

hehe yeah it's ok to use custom interfaces from this site.
I added the infomercial quickchat to help everyone share the wealth that is eq2interface.

Feel free to infomecial away just don't spam or they'll come after me.
