What is the policy on replacing existing maps?

I've noticed that some of the maps we have look like garbage. What is the policy on re-doing existing maps? Is there any editorial policy?

Once we finish (haha) the maps for all the zones in-game, we will have the opportunity to clean up some of the older ones and make them look pretty . . . Just thinking about the future.

I think any one that just has the basic lines is free for replacement as long as some credit was given on the new map.
