Question SOE Updates: How to update Interface

I'm non-technical, so I may be asking a simple question. I've spent a little time looking around for threads on Updates, but most everything I find is geared to initial installation.

I'm currently using Fetish Nightfall and love it.

Anyway, do I need to reinstall the interface with each SOE Update once an update compliant version of the FN Interface is available? Uninstall/Reinstall or is there another proceedure for installing updated versions/patches.

OR

Does the Interface "auto-update" once a newer update compliant version is released?

Of course I'm hoping the latter case to be true. If not I'll look around for instructions on Updating Interfaces.

Thanks.

If SOE comes out with a patch that breaks interface mods, you hafta wait for the author to update the mod. Fetish/Zonx's mods are designed to completely replace each other. If you have 4.1 installed and he comes out with 4.2, its best to delete the entire contents of the folder and install 4.2 fresh.

Once an author releases an update, it replaces the older version of the file.
The link for Fetish Nightfall as been the same throughout since 3.0 at least

The only interface that auto updates is the EQ2Map interface but you have to run the updater program.

You dont need reinstall Eq2 , just delete the custom UI folder and even the eq2.ini .. and run the game it will replace the eq2.ini with a new version that will set you up with the default UI.
