Default Wierd Problem with Builder

Greetings all,

I'm Hoping someone can help me work this out - last night while fiddling around with the Builder I did *something* - and now when I log in, everything is pushed to the left side - the right side of the screen is cut off all the way down the length of the screen... just the UI, not the game itself... in the builder, the gridlines are all goofy - I've tried to click and grab them, and they do move, but its all wonky.....

wonky is bad... help me please

I've moved the edges of all the screens to the right by click-dragging but cant seem to find the right thing to move to get it to align correctly.

its working fine otherwise, I've even deleted and reinstalled the builder... leads me to think there is a file with a setting somewhere, but I'm at a loss for what or where.

Thanks in advance for any help

You've probably accidentally moved the Root object or one of the modules (MainHUD, Inventory, etc.) Make sure they're all set to Location="0,0" (The Location property shouldn't show up at all in UIBuilder if it is 0,0) and Size="1024x768"

Also look for a file called

defaults.cfg

In the folder that you have the UI builder running from and just delete it !
That said file has caused me problems in the past... Dont worry it will make a new one itself as and when it needs to... (it being the ui builder)

Thumbs Up That Fixed it !

worked like a charm

Many thanks to you both - took doing both things to fix it completely, no more "what does this do" at 4am...

Back to modding I go...

*cackles gleefully and wanders off...

Acidentally moding any of the default Fonts with nested character entities also tends to hose the font and any stuff that uses it. Can throw your entire UI off.
