Profit UI getting Error... EverQuest2.exe not found

Hello I had to get a ne computer, it is Windows 7, I Installed EQ2, then tried to install EQ2Maps and got the EverQuest2.exe Error...So I got rid of it and read that I should DL Profit UI first so I did, when it comes up to update files it tells me to chose the path so i put it in EQ2\UI folder and hit ok Then I get the same message Error EverQuest2.exe cant be found.... what am doing wrong? please help thanks

I would guess that if it's looking for EverQuest2.exe that it doesn't want you to point it at your UI folder. Just point it to your EQ2 folder (which is where EverQuest2.exe is).

I did point it there at first, did not work....so then I pointed it at the ui part and still nothing, I will reload EQ2 and DL profit again and try to point it at the eq2 folder...

I found the Everquest.exe file in my test server folder. You will see a few different ones that say application next to it, check the most recent date and choose that one then your everquest.exe file will open. After that For new patcher I opened eq2 map updater {as administrator} go to 'options' in 'auto launch file. hit
'browse'. go to Local disc C ,open USER folder, PUBLIC folder,SOE folder, Installed games, Everquest2, you will see 'square with an s inside it LAUNCH PAD'
click on it, open your eq.exe and it should work for you. I hope this helps!!!!
