No POI's on Map

I am having a problem with my EQ2 Map.... there are no POI's showing up as well as group members.

I am running windows 7 and yes, I did make all the necessary changes to make it administrator (what a pain that is!). I am also using Profit UI.

Before I installed a separate UI the map was working just fine showing all POI's and group members. I don't understand why it won't now just because of the UI change. Yes, I did make sure that EQ2 Map has the correct UI showing being used.

Please help, using EQ2Map is extremely beneficial to me and I NEED it!

Does the other UI you installed show up correctly in game?

If so, then the issue most likely lies in installing EQ2MAP into that UI. Verify that the EQ2MAP updater is showing that UI's name next to UI Directory: and you can further check by going into EverQuest II/UI/<Your UI Name>/POI and verifying that you have all the POI files there (about 380 files).

If that doesn't work, tell us what custom UI you are using. Also check in game to make sure the POIs aren't just filtered off.

I tried going to the file you suggested to see about the POI's and I don't see where "my name" is.....there is just a default and fonts folder in the UI folder.

Not sure what's wrong there.....

Also, I am using Profit UI and yes, it does show up properly, the only problem I'm having is with the map.

If the only thing you see in the UI/ folder is Default and Fonts then you are looking at the wrong UI install. Right click and select properties on the shortcut to the launcher you use to find the install of EQ2 that you are actually using.
