Need help in changing one window

Hiya Zonx:

I would very much appreciate some input on how I can change the text color, and/or background color on just "one" window. That window is the window that comes up when you "read" a book.

Also, does anybody know off-hand what window or line of code (not that I'm much good at that sort of thing; I'm not) that is used when reading in-game books?

I just need to change just the text to white, and/or the actual background color on that one window. The rest of the mod is great, and I love it, but I read all the time in-game, and any help would be much appreciated.

The window file should be eq2ui_popup_book.xml

Out of curiosity, what is making it difficult to read? The background should be a light purple and the text black.

If you want to change the background to white...
Open that file and search for RStyleDefault="tile". Delete that and replace it with BackgroundColor="#FFFFFF"

On the other hand, if you want to change the text color to white...

Search for TextColor="#FCD781">1
Replace the #FCD781 with #FFFFFF. Note that there should be TWO instances of this, replace both.

You can also substitute in place of #FFFFFF the hex code for whatever colors you like.
