Item Stats to XML...

I hope I got the right thread.

I've scanned the threads and looked though the XMLs.. but didn't see anything about it.

is there a way to pull the stats on an item and dump it to a file (file..text..what ever)

and/or

how do you pull the image of an item? I seen this on the Eq2iDB program.
looks like the item is viewed to get the link information.. but then, somehow, the the image (or the item data) is saved.

How can this be done?
