Default Ok bottombar, get back here

Hi
I use several pieces of standalone mods that I put in to ProfitUI and never have a problem, but I just added Himay's startbar 2.0 which is marked as compatible with PUI, and for some reason my bottom bar vamped on me.
I've read through all the threads that say bottom anywhere in them, and have tried everything (deleting my uisettings and loading default, adding and subtracting lines from the mainhud.xml, even totally reinstalling PUI from scratch). I can't figure out what the problem is, so if anybody could chime in, I'd lub you long time.
I will also post this on Himay's forum, since I'm not sure where the problem lies.
( i swear i red the red print too gm9 so don't even go there! )

Default Aha

I ccp'd the default Mainhud.xml and went over it to make sure it had all necessary files for himays, put it in and loaded and everything is perfect. Good info in case it happens to someone else i guess

Apparently himays 2.0 button hasnt been keeping pace with ProfitUI and had some stuff it didnt need in its mainhud.xml

ProfitUI doesn't use the eq2ui_mainhud.xml anymore as SoE made an eq2ui_custom.xml file instead.

I would suggest putting the "necessary files for himays" and any other mods you have in to the custom.xml and deleting the mainhud.xml

In the future when Sony bring out new windows and you get the black boxes, you won't have to go editing the mainhud.xml to add them in as Sony will update the default one and EQ will use that.

Back up your custom UI directory first tho in case something goes wrong. It took me weeks to get rid of my mainhud.xml as I couldn't get something working, but was able to restore my ui from a backup.

Actually I'm quite sure you will break Himay's mod if you add the files to the custom tree instead.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.
