Default How Am I CC'd Status Bar

If we have line of sight or range issues, we get feedback from the interface with what the problem is stopping us from casting X spell/ability or meleeing. However when we can't cast, melee, or move for other reasons there's no direct feedback. Hovering detrimentals for tooltips to try and read all the spam description to find out why you can't cast is very bad & slow feedback.

I was envisioning something like a small bar with several icons that are usually green and go red to give you the feedback on how you are currently disabled.

Mez - Stun - Stifle - Charm - Daze - Root - Snare - FD

Providing one with the information you really need without having to wade through detrimental tooltips which hinders one's facility with dpsing, healing, curing, tanking etc.

Apologies if this has been asked before.

While that would be nice, to my knowledge something like that is not possible. I do not believe the game sends that data directly in any way, and I cannot think of any way of determining which effects are on you based on your detrimentals window.

Unfortunately that information is not available to be used in an UI mod, SOE would need to either add that window or make so-called dynamic data about it available to modders (i.e. send in /feedback and hope for the best).

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

While there isn't information directly in the UI for these, some of them you can get visual feedback for using items. In inventory, most activateable items will dim to show them unusable when you are stunned/stigled/feared etc, except the item(s) that can be used to counter the effect.

If you are lvl 62+ then \aITEM 1408869615 -1186321493:[Grandmaster's Freedom of Mind]\/a will stay lit when you are stunned or stifled (unless you've used one recently). Similarly \aITEM 1245453422 -1557208467:[Grandmaster's Freedom of Action]\/a will stay lit when you are rooted or feared, again unless you are inside the recast time.

If you are level 47+ and in a guild of level 50+ there are status items you can buy that behave similarly, \aITEM 375631763 772711152:[Symbol of Clear Voice]\/a for stifle, \aITEM -2004657334 1397103488:[Symbol of Stability]\/a for stun, and \aITEM 1828942623 1980662857:[Symbol of Slippery Feet]\/a for root. There are additional versions of these with longer immunity at lvl 67 and guild level 70.

Even if you never consume these items, you can place them in a bag you leave open on the screen, and when all but one or two gray out you'll know which effect is on you (once you get used to remembering your arrangement of them).

I regularly use signets relics and potions to counter effects, I also have the bristlebane miracle for this purpose, but their feedback is pretty inaccurate with multiple effects not beign distinguished between etc.

Yep, but they're the best we can do unfortunately. /feedback and hope SOE will add dynamic data for things like IsCharmed and IsRooted etc.. Only once they add those will we be able to make what you are asking for.
