Default Can't see Hotkey windows in ProfitUI

I have ProfitUI installed on one PC and it works fine. I installed it on another PC with another character and I don't have any hotkey windows. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Also the compass on ProfitUI that is working properly doesn't show the direction information, e.g., 199, 5.4, -325 for example. Any ideas?

Sounds like you kept your old uisettings on the other PC. Load the default settings (or copy those from your first PC) and you should be fine.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

Thanks GM9, but I managed (somehow) to get a hotbar window up. What I did was directly after I sent the post and before I got yours I went to the default UI and put a hotbar in the middle of the play window. When I loaded ProfitUI again I was able to use that hotbar.

Actually, even after that I installed my default UI from my first PC as you suggested because when I first start up I get a wierd UI and I have to type /loadui and select ProfitUI from Thor or Default. Do you have a clue where the problem is in files?

Yes, you didn't follow the installation instructions.

You avoid all those window placement and settings problems (and future problems) by dumping your old uisettings and by properly installing all the files. And that you need to use /loadui (evil command!) shows that you don't use the eq2.ini I provide.

Default Thanks

GM9, that did the trick, reinstalling eq.ini and not just the default.ini.

Thanks for the help
