Cant get map to work anymore

I had to replace my hard drive about a month back and since then i cant get the eq2map updater to work properly. everytime i try to use it i get this same message.......error reading eq2.ini file
system.unauthorized access exception:access to path "C:\program files\sony\everquest2\eq2.ini" is denied.
at system.lO._error.win lO error (int32 errorCode. String str)

How do i fix this problem?

If you can, open the updater, and click options.

Manually set the directory to correct Everquest II folder (just to make sure)

You could also make sure that eq2.ini exists, not too sure. Just throwing out possible fixes.
