Its all jacked up...

I just ran my auto-updater today for the first time in about a month. I also ran the eq2map updater at the same time. I logged into my character and my ui was all messed up. It seems to be using the default ui patterns but they're all in the places that the profit ui puts them. I'm really confused and slightly terrified. Please help me!

try a clean install, you have incompatible files

well the clean install worked great. my beloved UI works perfectly now. any idea's on what i might have done wrong to cause it? i only ask so i can try to prevent future problems.

Likely you edited a file by hand and messed something up (using Windows notepad for editing can cause this for example) or - more unlikely - you had some outdated third party mods installed (those should usually not lead to a crash though).
