((Main Info))
Quote:
[2.2.2]

NOTE: If you are still having problems with the experience text not showing properly, copy Highspeed.ttf and Speedline.ttf in your EQ2\UI\fonts folder to your c:\windows\fonts or c:\winnt\fonts folder (depending on operating system).

[2.2]
* LU21 compatible.
* Fully compatible with 1024x768 resolutions and higher.
* New default ui_settings for 1024x768.
* Added default ui_settings for 1280x1024 with chat window tabs and bag locations already set up (choose 1280x1024-c&b for this one).
* Updated to Milquetowst Info Center release 060325.
* Added Mini Intro-Screen (after character creation) to complement mini-zoning screen (fixes the black screen during intro bug).
* Fixed display of guild members online to show 0 when unguilded.
* Target window expands automatically when selecting the larger icon size via the frame and titlebar setting.
* Optional mini inventory window included based on Geniva's Smaller Invetory with only minor modifications..

* Start Button:
- Size of start button reduced.
- New button for opening the new Zone Lockout Timers window on start button.
- Panic button can be disabled by setting "frame and title" to "none".
- Fixed shadow buttons to be clickable again.

* Hotbars:
Changed behaviour for "frame & titlebar" settings:
(None): No bank select arrows shown, no shortcut keys shown.
(Frame Only): No bank select arrows shown, visibility of shortcut keys controllable via frame opacity settings.
(Frame and Titlebar): Bank select arrows shown when mousing over, visibility of shortcut keys controllable via frame opacity settings.

* Chat Window:
- HOTFIX: Setting default chat channels should work properly now.
- Scroll bar at the right side, shown only when mousing over.
- Reduced distance between the tabs even more to save space.
- Changed behaviour for "frame & titlebar" as follows:
(None): No frame, no chat input possible.
(Frame Only): Frame, no chat input possible.
(Frame and Titlebar): Chat input possible, must have tabs. If you want to use this without tabs, change frame and backdrop to the minimum or it will look ugly.

* Pet Window:
- New button to send pet in to attack, guard itself and you (useful after calling the pet back).
- Dismiss pet button moved to titlebar, visible only on mouse-over.

* Tradeskill Window:
- Cancel button added to prepare pane when in non-expanded mode.

Too many to list. See post #10 for complete list.

READ CAREFULLY
2.x Installation Instructions:
1. Download the attached ZIP file at the bottom of this post.

2. Extract it to your EQ2 directory. This will not overwrite any installation of ProfitUI < v2.x, since it installs into a new folder (ProfitUI instead of Profit18).
NOTE: You'll have to copy all other mods you want to keep over to that folder, e.g. eq2map (or just have it auto-update to the new folder).

3. Rename your {server}.{toon}_eq2_uisettings.ini in your EQ2 directory to and add .bak to the end of it.

4. Start the game. When it first loads up, it will prompt you asking what layout you would like to import - choose whichever resolution you use. Otherwise you may have to manually set each window's setting. For example, if you cannot type in your chat window, you'll need to right click it and select "frame and titlebar". If you choose the wrong one, delete your {server}.{toon}_eq2_uisettings.ini and restart the game.

**** CHECK POST #4 FOR MORE DETAILED INSTALLATION INFO ****
((Where to Start))
Quote:
1. Start by downloading the "clean" version of ProfitUI on the bottom of this post. The file name is ProfitUI_xx.zip, the number will change depending on the version.

2. Follow the install instructions posted above, or if you're still confused check out the ((Tips & Tricks)) on post #4 in this thread for more detailed instructions/troubleshooting.

3. Visit the ((Modifications)) and ((Fixes)) sections on post #2 and #3 for some goodies and fixes for any issues you may be having.

4. Log in to the game and enjoy! Post any questions you have here but be sure to read all of the posts before you do! You'd be amazed at what treasures you can find buried in all this information
- PVP Server players: Open up eq2ui_mainhud.xml in your EverQuest II\UI\Profit18 directory in Notepad or Wordpad and add the line:
Code:
<include>eq2ui_mainhud_pvpimmunity.xml</include>

Save the file and log back in.
- This interface was designed for 1280x1024 and 1024x768 resolutions. (Other resolution layouts in the works, if you have one please PM me with your config file!)

- This interface was designed to have Smooth Font and Small Fonts options OFF. (Game Options -> User Interface -> Game Windows -> "Smooth Fonts"/"Use Small sans serif font")
Quote:
If you would like to use smooth fonts, put speedline.ttf and highspeed.ttf into your c:\windows\fonts or c:\winnt\fonts folder. Also make sure they are in Sony\EverQuest II\UI\Fonts
