I noticed that this morning while running through it. I'm pretty sure the start-up process is enabling the save button. I'll get that taken care of soon.

lol yea probably not. I've never like that heading any way but never could think of a better short description for the tab.

You can copy the selected UI settings file on the left to the selected UI Settings files on the right. I guess the Copy >> button in the middle isn't a good enough description lol. I'll add label to the top telling what to do.

Is there any artistic person willing to create a snazzy icon for EQ2 Companion. PM if you are interested.

Beta Build 0.16
Build Change Log: - Replaced the old MessageDialogs with a TaskDailog Look-a-Likes for people not running Vista, Vista users, you've been using the real thing.
- Finished the code for the Don't install from All UI tabs checkbox that is in the individual UI tabs.
- Changed the label on the Character tab to Copy Character Settings.
- Fixed can't convert null to string error that could happen when clicking on a file in the UI file tree.
- Removed the 's from Interfaces.
EDIT:
Attached the file

Public beta candidate 1.0 - Fixed a couple more spelling errors, 'legend' being one of them:P
- The file Raid C2C makes has been restructured. The script node is now named button1, button2, button3, and button4 and changed from a data node to a text node.
- Changed the node type from data to text in the group/player C2C file.
- Fixed the issue where it wouldn't recall it's position it was closed in.
Still working on the AV and IP error you can get if you close the app out in its initialization.

'candidate' being the key word:/ I should of been more clear though. Still a couple of bugs I want to make sure that are gone before I release it to the masses.

Some of the typos I listed in my bug post above remain, e.g. permintly. New ones I noticed are integrety instead of integrity, verry instead of very. Also last line of integrity log has some strange punctuation.
Bug I noticed with my ProfitUI persona window background images download. The files in the zip are in a directory structure \UI\ProfitUI\images\backdrops. EQ2C shows that correctly on the left hand side, but says at the right that it will be installed at \UIProfitUI\ProfitUI\images\backdrops. Installing it does indead put the files in the latter path.
The "Do not install from UI List tab" checkbox does not appear to be functional.
It is still not possible to permanently exclude files that are on eq2interface's favorites list.

1. Upon pressing Close I get:
"Access violation at adress 004FACCA in module "EQ2Companion.exe". Read of adress 00000000."
2. Can you implement any way to run a mod's auto updater (I.E. ProfitUI Auto-Updater)? So when you click EQ2Companion it runs the other Auto-Updaters like ProfitUI/ExtremeUI/ThorUI/etc (If "Auto Update" is checked). I know it currently Updates EQ2Map automatically though.
I know this is hard for you, so I wont sweat it. IT is awesome as it is.

Build 1.1
Buid 1.1 Change Log - The "Do not install from UI List tab" is working as designed. (where have I heard that before?) How ever the baseClass wasn't checking to see it should install/update or not. It is now corrected.
- Relabeled the "Do not install from UI List tab" to Ignore UI List tab controls. I also gave it a tool-top with more of a description.
- Fixed the spelling errors gm9 pointed out.
- Added a more advanced dialog when deleting a UI. Hope you are happy gm9.
- Recoded the class that guessed at where the author is wanting the .zip to be extracted if they did not provide a install eq2c.xml file. If it picks wrong now the author will just have to provide a eq2c.xml file if they want the end user to use EQ2 Companion.

typos:
1. Under Help>About you spelled special like "speachel"
2. When you Add a UI to your "Interfaces" tab, the text on the top has a typo that is "Brows", when it should say "Browse"

Ok the "Ignore UI List tab controls" checkbox works insofar as files are apparently not copied. It is still doing an integrity check, putting that in the log and giving you error messages about it. Also on the UI List tab the progressbars move for all UIs, also the excluded ones.
Otherwise I confirm that I am happy. I declare thee ready for public beta testing.

What you should do is: in the "UI List" tab, implement a checkmark to the left or above each name of the mod that says "Exclude from Update/Install" or something. As shown as an example:

lol i'm going to sound like a dick but when you go to "Add" the window it has 3 small typos on the
second paragraph:
1.
what it is-"...but do not wish to install or updating this UI, you have 2 options..."
what it should be-"...but do not wish to install or update this UI, you have 2 options..."
2/3.
what it is-"Doing that will cause EQ2 Companion to skip this ui whin installing or updating from the UI List tab.."
what it should be-"Doing this will cause EQ2 Companion to skip this ui when installing or updating from the UI List tab.."

lol...as you can see, I do thorough checks upon testing things. lol....here's another one I didn't catch before
When you do Manual Update on the EQ2Map tab, and you click Cancel Update it says
"User Cancled Transfer"
I'm sure the user didn't use their cancles to ensure their safety whence downloading Manual Updates.
Anyways, as you might of figured it should be "User Canceled Transfer"
drago.

on the "Paths" tab:
Save Button tooltip.
says:
"Save the current paths and UI you have selected."
it probably should be:
"Save the current path of the UI you have selected."
-----------
on the "Paths" tab:
Window that comes up when clicking "Auto Search":
button that says "I don't know search them all" should say "I don't know, search them all"

When you click the "Add" button to add a UI when not logged in, the window that comes up text should say:
"Use the Login button to log EQ2Companion into eq2interface.com"
