Gorowyn Map (bottom) not displaying.

Can someone check to see if their Gorowyn map is showing? Mine is only showing the POI's. The other maps I have been on have been showing up correctly. Also while browsing the eqmaps image files I did not see any Gorowyn image files.

Have not even been to the top yet.

So I do not know if that one is working. The last time I was in these areas, it was very hard to navigate (that back before July).

Since GU 57, this has been an ongoing glitch and I'm guessing that since the post discussing it wasn't posted in the troubleshooting section, that it was overlooked.

I will add that in my case, I'm using Profit UI with the Default Old Graphics skin along side EQ2maps if that matters any. Is there any progress on this issue or is it even being persued at this time?

If so, are there any fixes or work arounds I can try?

Moved you in here, better bump the old thread instead of making a second one.

The Gorowyn map just like all city maps should be part of the default UI, there is no separate map for this zone in EQ2MAP. If the map does not work it should not work in the default UI either, which would make it a /bug for SOE to fix. Maybe you could check that.

Well I thought there might not be a response in this thread because it wasn't placed in the troubleshooting forum but okay, will check out the default first chance I get.

Update #1:

Okay, apparently that map is broken on the live server even with only the default UI going (nothing added). It works just fine on the test server, guess I'll try a copy/paste of those files to the live folder.

Update #2:

That didn't work pre or post patching, nor did deleting the uisettings for the character. I'm assuming the "fix" that's on test has nothing to do with any actual "image" files in the Everquest II UI directory.

Copy/paste will likely not work since the way those maps work they are coded into the client itself, not the interface files. Once the live servers receive the patch which is on the test server I would expect it to start working there again, too.
