A stun mod

Is this even possible? To make a mod to let you know that you are stunned. I know the hotbar buttons will all gray out when you are stunned, but I would like something that pops up that says you are stunned. Like a window or the word STUNNED in the middle of the screen and stays there until you are not stunned.

Yep. Best you can do is /feedback it and ask for some kind of dynamic data for control effects. It's something I too would like to see.

If we could somehow fetch the data of /IconStyles.Effect and check the icon rect from the Detrimental Effect window then this could be possible just by filtering the icon and the background color locations. AFAIK you can't do that, unless I'm mistaken.

Wouldn't that require a database of every single spell effect that can reduce your ability to control your character, it's icon graphic and it's background color? That'd be hundreds and contain a lot of false positives for shared icons.

1. Not every ability shares the same icon/background
a. A lot of spells/CAs that share the same icon/background have similar effects (ie snare, root, or the basic "quick strike")
2. Not every spell/CA in the game is a detrimental effect
3. There aren't hundreds of spells that stun/root/snare/stifle/daze
4. It is extremely useful in PvP
5. I got it to work

I guess I don't get it... I can tell just by the way my toon acts as to what is going on with it. I don't need a window popping up telling me I am stunned, stiffened or what ever. It isn't rocket science to tell one from the other.

It might just be me be I cannot tell when I am stunned when in Cat, Wolf, or some of the other druid forms. Actually when I harvest stuff in these forms I just stand there, while the "castbar" shows my progress. I guess this might be the reason for this request.

I can pull the IconRect and Icon Resource, but what is the color background one?
