Someone Must have an Answer?

Ive done both of the suggestions previously stated.

neither of them have worked.
Ive tried uninstalling EQ2map, ProfitUI and even tried to revert to the old default UI. nothings working. The only way i can see quest givers/updates on the map are if i use the old map in Options > UI > Map window

Only thing i can think of is to delete EQ2 and reinstall the whole thing - which is something i really cbf doing T_T
