Get error when try to login

I just downloaded the eq2map manual file, and followed instructions of how to install with creating eq2.ini file and downloaded framework 1.1 and installed and run eq2 as administrator and my game crashes and says an error has occured and shuts down the game. I have followed your steps im not sure what to do? I have firefox does that matter? Please help

can you provide more information?
what UI are you using?
maybe post your eq2.ini

I noticed I also have 2 eq2 intallments when i go to install/remove panal

I get this message right after I try to login at character select screen

From one of your screenshots you are using a custom ui called "bobsui".

Has this UI been updated to include required changes to
eq2ui_hud_zoning.xml?

At the very least, this file will have to be updated to reflect to new composite for 'Tip of the Day'. The version has been bumped also.

There are many other changes, but the change above is a minimum requirement to get into the game.

Your file will have to have the new version number and may or may not crash if the composit is not in there. I have not tested logging in without the composite in the code.
