Taken from the Bottom Bar section of the FAQ for ProfitUI:

"The visibility of the bar itself is controlled by the frame setting."

In other words, right click the bar to access the Window Settings, and choose one of the other options available in the Frame and Title bar dropdown (Not sure which one it would be, as I haven't been able to play the game for close to two years now).
