Default New debuff windows error on login
Hey all, just logged in and it gave me a error saying that i cannot use this window till i patch my ui.

Its saying for my detrimental spells, it will not show.

umm, ya, i wouldnt post if i did patch already and it worked. hahah just went to 4.0 ....i did the remove the *.zips and removed the journal.xml file.

Going to try the auto updater.

woot, auto updater worked....and it kept all my settings.

Im having a weird issue with my target buffs, they showing right on the targets health and power bars. EDIT got this fixed also.

Is there a manual way to DL the file and stick it in the right place ourselves?

The manual download should be fine - it has the identical files that the auto-updater has. Not sure what went wrong for Momo.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

Default Manual Fix for the Detrimental Error
If you have customized your own UI then here is a fix for the error.

1. edit 'eq2ui_mainhud.xml' and add
'eq2ui_mainhud_detrimental_effects.xml ' to the end of the xml. (example below).
2. Save 'eq2ui_mainhud.xml' and restart EQ2

Example:
<include>eq2ui_mainhud_detrimental_effects.xml<include>
</Page>
