Default crosshairs?

Hi all. Im new to Eq2 and to these forums. I was wondering if there is any mod that will let me use mouselook with crosshairs like in standard FPS games? I did a forum search for crosshairs and all variants but there was no matches. ANyway Im low on time (because Im playing EQ2) so was hoping maybe someone knows offhand if this exists OR where it has been talked about before.

Also is there an xp bar mod that uses numbers instead of bar graph. I like to chart what each amount of xp each thing gives and its impossible to be accurate using the bar graph.

Thanks Gang, I appreciate your time.

Not sure if crosshairs while mouselooking is possible, since going into mouselook hides the cursor. I suppose you could make a set of permanent crosshairs as a click-through window that were centered in the screen, but I think they'd have to be up all the time (in other words, there'd be no way to make them appear only when in mouse look i think).

If you don't mind the question, what would you use them for?

As for the xp bar thing: The best you can get for xp is 12.34% -- that's all we're given. We're not given any actual numerical XP information at all. And AAXP is limited to 12% -- you can infer more from the bar but numerically that's all they give us.

Press ALT-O for Options. Go to Controls - Mouse Settings - Mouselook Toggle Enabled and click that box. Go to Controls - View Keys - Mouselook Toggle and pick a key or mouse button to toggle mouselook on and off. That should be it.

Mouselook isn't very popular in a game like EQ2 though, since you have to click on so many different things on the screen. I would suggest that you try and get used to the normal way the mouse works with clicking the left button to look around and clicking the right button to turn.

There are a lot of different XP bar mods. You can look in that section for one you like.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the replies. sorry it took so long for me to thankyou... still low on time due to EQ What I wanted them for is just a bit of convenience. I'm an old timer FPS player and just wanted to not have to learn new keyboard/mouse usage. Using the mouse keys to enable mouselook isnt such a great idea for wireless mice. Before Eq a battery pair lasted well over a year of FPS game usage. I've Already gone through a pair using a mouse button to enable mouselook and Ive been playing about 1 and a half months . Basically Id like to use keyboard button for spells and initiating chats and left mouse button to select objects/mobs without leaving mouselook. For me at least it would be a lot more efficient in group dungeon crawls. Using the mouse button to turn is just too cumbersome for me, im switching back and forth as needed. I'm adjusting though Thanks again for the info on the xp bars and mouselook options.
