Yes, it's not really simple but you can grab any spell icon that any of your characters have.

Also, my examine item icon window mod has a dragable icon, so you can drag the icon for any item in the broker, linked in the chat window, or any examine window.

Hmm, I suppose I could also make the examine effect window icon dragable so that you could examine one of the tiny effects from your target window and grab one of those too.
